Green Facts about Eminence Organic Skin Care

Green Fact # 1 - Our office headquarters in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, is partially powered by solar panel technology which harvests the rich energy of the sun to help reduce our carbon footprint. Did you know that the sun provides about 300 BTUs of heat per square foot per day?


Green Fact # 2 - Éminence products come in glass, bamboo and non toxic plastic containers and are packaged in boxes made from post-consumer recycled material. We use FSC certified post-consumer recycled paper and vegetable-based inks in printing. Even our packing chips are made from corn and dissolve harmlessly under running hot water.

Green Fact # 3 - We adhere to the strictest international certification standards to preserve our farming soil. Our Beyond Organic skin care line is made with biodynamic ingredients, the purest, most nutrient-rich Mother Nature has to offer, with 2 products certified by Demeter International. Certified Biodynamic products must contain at least 95% organic and up to 95% biodynamic ingredients.

Green Fact # 4- Éminence only uses natural plant preservation methods, such as honey traps in our farming techniques. Never any pesticides!

Green Fact # 5- Planting and harvesting in Hungary is done using manual labor, which produces little to no carbon dioxide in comparison to traditional mechanical methods.

Green Fact # 6 - 92% of our workforce, including president Boldijarre Koronczay, uses public transit, walks or bikes to and from work every day. When we drive, we use environmentally-friendly, hybrid vehicles that reduce emissions by up to 50% in comparison to conventional cars.
